Christina Aguilera, mother to one-and-a-half-year-old cute kid Max, is birthing a new venture: her very own radio station! The online channel will be featured on the “iheartradio” network, filled with interviews, Christina’s personal commentary, music, and more. Are more cute kids in the stars for Christina? Rumors have it that she and hubby Jordan Bratman are trying for a sibling for little Max. Time will tell!

Also known as “the little girl with the big voice,” Christina Aguilera was born in Staten Island, New York, and eventually moved to Rochester, Pensylvania when her parents divorced. As a child, Christina’s talent was apparent singing in talent shows and competitions, causing her to become the target of vandalism and exclusion by her peers due to jealousy. The family eventually moved to Waxford and kept her talent a secret. At that time, Christina attended Marshall Middle School and North Allegheny Intermediate High School until she was later home schooled.

The country was first introduced to Christina’s talents when she appeared on Star Search, leading to her role on The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Although the show was canceled after only a year, Christina recorded a song for the animated film Mulan, which landed her a contract with RCA Records.

Her debut album shot Christina to the top of the charts, but her lack of input into her music caused her to part ways with her management. It wasn’t until she released her album Stripped with BMG Records (produced by Scott Storch and singer-songwriter Linda Perry) that her sugary image was squashed by a raunchier side. In yet another image make-over, Christina released Back to Basics, giving her vocal ability center stage again.

Now as mommy Christina balances the limelight with motherhood and marriage,  we hold our breath to see what the next side of Christina will be!

Do you censor your children’s music options based on the artist’s image?

The Basketball Hall of Fame has opened a Michael Jordan exhibit this month, honoring the great legend himself. He may be retired from basketball, but this handsome businessman still shines in the spotlight.

Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York, but his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was a toddler. He attended Emsley A. Laney High School, where he began playing basketball and football. After becoming the star of the high school’s JV basketball team, he made the varsity team and continued to build up acclaim for his athletic talent.

Michael attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill but left one year before his scheduled graduation to enter the 1984 NBA Draft. He was picked third overall by the Chicago Bulls where he built his illustrious career as a high-flying legend.

Michael retired from basketball to pursue a career in baseball, but returned to basketball to rejoin the Bulls. After retiring a second time, he headed back to the NBA, this time for the Washington Wizards.

Several awards and honors now under his belt, Michael also added actor to his resume with the movie Space Jam. He is currently a part-owner of the North Carolina Charlotte Bobcats.

How do you feel about athletes as role models to your cute kids?

Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted all dolled up for her baby shower the first weekend in August. Will her pea in the pod be a future child actor? Only time will tell!

Sarah Michelle Gellar was born on April 14, 1977, in New York City. Even before attending New York’s Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School and the Professional Children’s School, she was spotted by an agent in a restaurant at only four years old. Her first audition occurred only two weeks after having been spotted in Uptown Manhattan, landing her a role in the made-for-TV movie An Invasion of Privacy. Her next gig involved her in more than just a commercial for Burger King; she took the stand in a lawsuit between McDonald’s and the burger competitor.

Sarah Michelle continued to make TV commercials while balancing roles on both television and the big screen, but it was her roles in the TV series’ Swans Crossing and the ABC soap All My Children that showed that her star was on the rise. She eventually landed her signature role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which put her smack in the middle of the spotlight.

Future roles in big screen hits I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2, and Cruel Intentions helped her shed her “Buffy” image, although she has not received much acclaim since her role in the horror movie The Grudge. The critics have not been kind to Sarah Michelle for her more recent movie roles, but her role of mommy-to-be has her shining like the star she is!

Sarah Michelle was formerly represented by the William Morris Agency, but currently is represented by the Creative Artists Agency. She is happily married to Freddie Prinze, Jr., and the couple awaits the arrival of their first child, due in fall 2009.

Do you think actresses taking “bad girl” roles helps expand their acting opportunities or hurt them?

Not only does this Mom of three still do her family’s laundry, she looks good doing it! Kelly Ripa was born in Camden County, New Jersey, and attended Berlin Community School. During her time at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees Township, New Jersey, she got her taste for acting through plays at her high schools. It was those performances, in fact, through which her talents were discovered her senior year. She went on to act in local theatre.

Her TV debut was as a regular on the show Dance Party USA, but her first major role was as Hayley Vaughn on the ABC soap All My Children. She went on to replace Kathie Lee Gifford to co-host (the now named) Live with Regis and Kelly while still acting on All My Children. Within a year, she left the soap to focus on her co-hosting duties.

The following year, Kelly picked up a role on the sitcom Hope & Faith while still working on Live, but after the show’s cancellation, the actress has been quoted as taking a break from acting right now.

Kelly runs a production company called Milojo Productions with husband Marc Consuelos yet still finds time to be a super mom. What’s Kelly’s next career move? Perhaps this bubbling beauty should dip her career into modeling because she’s got the rest of the world conquered!

David Duchovny has been spotted spending a lot of cozy time with estranged wife Téa Leoni this last month. Could this couple be on the way to reconciliation? Or, just keeping a united front for their two cute kids? Only time will tell!

David Duchovny was born in New York City, New York, earning an undergraduate degree from Princeton and a master’s from Yale. While in studies to earn his PhD, he began making his way back to New York to study acting and soon found work on a few off-Broadway plays. He has yet to complete his post-graduate studies.

David’s acting debut came with his first appearance in a TV commercial for Löwenbräu beer. He soon made the leap to the big screen in the movie Working Girl one year later. However, the foundation of his career continued to be laid in television, from Twin Peaks to the Red Shoe Diaries. His big break came with the sci-fi hit series The X-Files, playing FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder.

David has since proved himself as an actor on the big screen, and has even dabbled in directing. His current role in the Showtime series Californication has landed him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, proving that the career of this poet-turned-actor is a long way from fizzling out.

Mariah Carey’s latest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, is due in stores this month, but this isn’t the R&B superstar’s first taste of success; she has been in the musical spotlight since 1990. Find out how this cute kid turned musical diva.

Mariah was born and raised in Huntington, Long Island and turned to music to occupy herself as her single mother (and former opera singer and vocal coach) struggled to support her family after a divorce.

Mariah went on to graduate from Harborfields High School in Greenlawn, New York, but missed school often due to her job as a demo singer for local recording studios. Her job gave her the opportunity to work with musicians like Gavin Christopher and Ben Margulies, helping her co-write her material for her demo tape. She soon became a backup singer for Brenda Starr, a Puerto Rican freestyle singer.

By 1988, Starr gave Columbia Records exec Tommy Mottola Mariah’s demo tape at a party where Mariah met him, and he signed her to a recording contract. Reaching the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with her first album, there was no mistaking that Mariah’s Cinderella-like story was made for tinseltown.

Mariah begin taking acting lessons in 1997, appearing in such films as The Bachelor, Glitter, and State Property 2. Although her acting career has not given her much success or positive review, her musical talent will keep her in the spotlight for years.
