Hi Sylvia,
What you are paying for is the photo contest for the grand prize scholarship of $25,000. We are not an agency, but have agents viewing photos of our members and discovering kids all the time, so uploading photos to your account for free would also help you get exposure.
If you would like to contact customer service, here is the contact form on the website: http://www.thecutekid.com/contact-thecutekid.php
Thanks for posting!

Hi Renee,
That’s great! Sounds like you’re getting a lot of action!
I believe that was our open call in Chicago for Babes n Beaus Model/Talent Agency, which just passed.

Judy, I had recently sent photos of my twin girls to the may cute kids photo. I had an email sent to us that an client was looking at their photos. The next day we received another email that cute kids was branching out to Ohio, dou you know what location this may be. Thanks, Renee.

Yes, Deanne, every month talent managers, agents and casting directors are judging the kid’s photos!! Including me
We have a few of them blogging on this website as well, to answer personal questions such as this one.
You don’t get personal feedback from a contest, it’s just that – a contest. If you want to try and get personal feedback send your child’s pictures into modeling agencies and see what their response is. Google “model agency Denver” and start doing your homework; find out if the agency has a children’s division, and never pay any money up front.
Good luck!!

I have two children and I would really like to get them both into modeling. I have entered the Cute Kids contest but cannot afford to keep updating photos especially with no feed back and I honestly don’t know if anyone is viewing the photos. Is there an agent that you might recommend us going to? Or any advice on how to get them started? I have a daughter who is 9 months and a son that will be 3 in Feb. We live in Denver, CO.
Thank you,
Deanne

I was wondering where in Baton Rouge,Louisiana can I go to see about my 18month old getting into modeling?
March 30th, 2009 at 3:02 pm
Dear Yolanda,
Your daughter shouldn’t be required to have a composite – she is too young. In New York, the children’s agencies market the kids with non-professional pictures until they can get working, make some money, then pay for a composite from their earnings.

Hi Patt,
You will have to do your research – Google a list of modeling agencies close to you, then call them up and find out if they represent children, then send in those pictures!!
No one will be able to tell you if anyone is going to take your son but the agencies themselves.
Good luck!

I am in Raquel’s position. My 2 1/2 year old grandson has been the focus of my photography obsession since the minute he was born. He is the true blond haired, blue eyed California boy. He has his own obsession..he can tell you the make of of 90% of the cars on the road today. Can you give me names of agencies in the S. California area that A)Don’t already have enough of his type B)May be looking for a boy with his unusual ability?
March 17th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
Hi Raquel!
Here are a few modeling agencies in NYC that have children’s divisions:
Ford
Wilhelmina
CESD
Abrams Artists
Good luck!
Please don’t pay anyone for anything…you can easily do it yourself.
March 17th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
Dear Yolanda,
If she is 4 years old there is NO REASON you can’t use pictures taken at home by YOU!!
DO NOT pay for professional pictures, tell the modeling agency you want to start her out with the pictures that you already have (or take new ones yourself) and if they do not agree to that they are not a legitimate agency!!
Thanks for posting!
Let me know what happens…

my child catherine will be turning 4years old this month.
she is beautiful and smart for her age.
and everyone thinks she should be a model.
however, some of the modeling agencies are very expensive when it comes to starting her in this industry.
Is there a way to get cheaper composite card done for her at a low-cost since she is a new face.
March 13th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
Hi Charmaine,
Try looking for modeling agencies that rep babies – some do and some don’t. The usual age for ACTING is 4, but modeling can be started earlier.

That’s great Meredith, thank-you for the compliment! Please feel free to post more comments about the modeling/acting industry, so we can start to get parents talking to each other. If we all help each other out, then maybe less people will be taken advantage of in this confusing and crazy business.
Have a great day!

my daughter is 12 mos old. I have been told b several people she could be the next gerber baby…..how can i get her involved in modeling. Most agencies want children 4 and older. I have submitted her picture several times to Cutekid but she’s never been accepted. I would just like for someone to tell me if she has any potential.

Hi Michele!
I don’t know how old your daughter is, but if she’s close to 14 years old, you should be targeting high fashion divisions. Elite Models is GREAT in Atlanta!!
If she is younger, you will have to find out if the agency your looking at has a kid’s division. Just google “model agency atlanta” and you will get a list.
If your daughter is at the age where she is high-fashion potential, you WILL have to invest in pictures for her portfolio once you get representation. But it will be at a discounted rate (about $150 – $200 max) or less for each test photo shoot, and you will pay photographer directly, not the agency…the agency may even advance you the money – be sure and ask!
If she is around the age of 14/15, my book will help you a lot! It’s called “Break Into Modeling for Under $20″ and sold on http://www.Amazon.com
Click Models is great to, but if she is a younger girl (under 13) then you will be targeting kid’s divisions first.
Good luck!

My daughter gets told all the time she should model. She is extremely tall for her age and slender and is very photogenic. All the agencies here in Atlanta so far have wanted fees up front which I know is a no-no. How do we find a reputable agency?
March 5th, 2009 at 11:33 am
I will be there!
