MODEL FUN IN DALLAS, TEXAS!
Written by judy on July 31, 2009 – 3:46 pm -I am SO EXCITED about our CuteKid Model Search/fashion show that is coming up in Dallas, Texas!
We already have so many sponsors: Parents Magazine, Revolution, Build-a-Bear and more! There will be gift bags, raffles and a photographer (Candy Battle) to take each child’s picture for the contest to win a year contract to The Campbell Agency plus $500.
PLUS (if that’s not enough!!) THE FIRST 100 APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE BABY OR TODDLER GIFT FROM ROYAL DRAMA CLOTHING!! COME EARLY TO HAVE YOUR CHOICE OF SIZES!
Join us August 21 and 22 from 11am – 4pm at Grapevine Mills Mall for the model search if you live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and on the 23rd at 1pm we will be hosting a children’s fashion show at the mall with selected model search applicants from the days before.
YOUR CHILD MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6 MONTHS AND 12 YEARS TO ENTER THE SEARCH.

The winner has to be willing to go on castings, appointments, callbacks, etc. if chosen – usually within an hour to two hours from the agency which is located in Dallas.

The fashion show winners walked on Sunday, August 23rd in Grapevine Mills Mall with sponsors like Sak’s, GAP, The Children’s Place and more!! As far as the winner and the “contract” goes, The Campbell Agency in Dallas is selecting the winner by Sept 15th, and possibly more children to represent also! Feel free to call them and confirm. I’m sorry if you had any confusion with anything!

Hi Judy! and everyone that asked about the contest and fashion show. I just wanted to say that the contest being judged over the next few weeks makes much more sense to me I did not see how in the world you could get thru that many photos to announce a winner at the show as I had been told it would go. Also aside from being HOT which Judy had no control over I thought the show went well. Judy was even kind enough to allow my son to walk in an extra when he asked if he could fill in if someone did not show up. Bless your heart..and yes he was prepared to beg! Thank you for sparing me that embarrassment!

Yes, if your child was in the fashion show they will still be considered for the grand prize!! They are two separate things.

sorry- nobody has heard anything back from this so called fashion show. I will never waste my $25 again with this messiness let alone my child’s time. I don’t believe a word about any contract.. where’s the proof? If you are smart, you will have nothing to do w/ them either. I will have this looked into!

It WAS exciting!! The Director of the Kid’s division was there scouting for new faces in addition to a winner, and she said she saw some great possibilities!! The agents from The Campbell Agency are judging the contestants for the next 3 weeks and we will be posting the finalists and winner by Sept 15th.
Sorry if you were disappointed, 18 kids were selected for the fashion show, and The Campbell Agency is expecting to sign on more than just the winnner!! The agents were scouting during our event, whether you realized that or not. So more than just one person is going to get discovered from this past weekend!!!!

I don’t know of any agencies in that area personally, only Ford Models in Vancouver! You can always count on Ford agencies.
