We’re casting a baby for world renowned harpist Merry Miller for the cover of her new CD entitled “Merry Baby!”

Merry was performing at the Grapevine Mills mall during the CuteKid TX model search & just had to have a CuteKid as her next model!

She is seeking a September CuteKid to be the Model for the cover of her upcoming CD, “Merry Baby”. It is a fun, interactive album and will feature delightful songs such as “Jingle Bells”, “Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer” & “Frosty the Snowman” done in her award-winning style of solo harp with heartwarming sound effects such as children laughing, chimes, soothing crickets, etc.

She is seeking a child within the ages of 6 months-2yrs.

TheCuteKid.com and The Campbell Agency (www.thecampbellagency.com) are proud to announce that 3-year-old Jaden Washington of Forney, TX is their Texas CuteKid Child Model Search grand prize winner and the recipient of a one year modeling contract with Campbell plus $500.

TheCuteKid.com and The Campbell Agency conducted the search August 21-22, 2009 at The Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, TX. Children 6 months – 12 years were eligible and there were over 400 entrants. A CuteKid fashion show was held on the following day at the mall.

Chrissy Washington, Jaden’s mother said, “I’m so proud of Jaden! This is the first contest she’s ever been in, so her winning was a major bonus. When I told her, she was very excited. I’m not sure she fully understands, but there was excitement in her voice as she said, ‘I’m a CuteKid!’”

There were 10 finalists selected who won entries into The CuteKid monthly contest for a chance to win $25,000. In addition to Jaden, The Campbell Agency will be offering some of these 10 finalists modeling contracts as well.

Does anyone out there want their child to succeed in modeling or acting so they can see what the industry is like for themselves?

C’mon, let’s admit it – the glamour, the money, the possibility of becoming a superstar…it’s fascinating!

I loved bringing my twin daughters onto the set of “Law and Order SVU” – we got to meet the main characters, be on the set of a hit TV show – it was like a dream! 

I’m looking to chat with parents who are trying to get their kids into modeling/acting for the reason of being involved in show business themselves.  Please post if you are one of these parents!  I may have an opportunity for a TV interview about this very subject!
