Our Correspondent Contest Winner, Olivia from Florida, had a dream-come-true weekend  during NYC Fashion Week Fall 2012!

Olivia was more than ready to report from numerous NYC Fashion Week events, and she had a blast in Manhattan, New York! Events planned by The CuteKid for Olivia included:

1.Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Visit

Olivia’s first gig was to shoot interviews on the floor and lobby of the MBFW tent.

Interviewing a pro model at the tent – she said that she’s glad she still has some time to grow.

Olivia said she wants a pink Mercedes some day…

She even got her photos taken by bloggers featuring children at the MBFW tent.

2. Fashion Presentation Visit

3. Apple Bottoms Jeans Showroom Visit

Not only did she get to interview the brand rep, but she got some freebies from AppleBottoms!

4. Haddad Showroom Visit

Haddad sponsored the CuteKid Fashion Show with brands including Nike, Converse, and Levi’s. Olivia got to visit their showroom and interview some representatives there.

5. The CuteKid Fashion Show at Dave & Buster’s

Olivia was super active for our main event during NYC Fashion Week. She interviewed numbers of CuteKid runway models this day.

Not only an interview, but she also rocked the runway!

6. Fit In Fashion VIP/Celebrity only Showroom Visit

Olivia got her hair done with blue and pink Sobe Hair Extension at Sobe-Hair! Other sponsors included HP, Mophie, Clean Plates, Suvara, Brandsway and many more.

7. Barbie’s Closet Visit

Olivia visited Barbie’s Closet, sponsored by Paper Magazine and IMG.  Barbie’s Closet is an interactive experience that allows people to walk into the Barbie’s dream house and virtually try on Barbie’s clothes or sit in Barbie’s kitchen and have a snack.

8. Olivia’s first snowfall video coverage

Since she lives in Florida, she had never seen snow until then – as she was leaving Barbie’s closet, there appeared to be a blizzard happening outside.

She got excited so much that she danced in the snow

9. Interview with Amy Taylor – Sr. VP of Marketing, Universal Studios/NBC

Amy was in town for Toy Fair and traveled across town to the hotel specifically to meet with Olivia. Of course, she interviewed Amy here, too!

10. Elle Magazine Gifting Suite Visit

After Amy answered questions, she escorted Olivia up to the Elle Magazine Gifting Suite Event.

Olivia met with the PR director for Motorola, interviewed her and was introduced to the newest products from Motorola.

The event also included braid bar and make-up station, where Olivia had fun by just being in the pro-environment. She also drew a picture and posed with it for a campaign to stop bullying, with possible social media exposure through their Facebook page!

11. Photo Booth/Art experience sponsored by the Empire Hotel

Olivia even got an artsy experience! She sat for a photo from professional artists there, and they used her image to create a work of art that was given to Olivia to take home with her to Florida.

Olivia, the CuteKid correspondent for NYC Fashion Week Fall 2012 truly had a VIP experience during the whole weekend.
