Just received some exciting news. We just caught wind of a casting call for a national morning show in NY. The only catch is that the deadline to get your cutie’s photo in is 3pm EST TODAY!

Some great news here at TheCuteKid! Two of our CuteKids, Patrick and James, are set for recurring roles on Guiding Light! Patrick and James were scouted from The CuteKid shortly after signing up by one of our agents! They will be playing Baby Henry, the adopted son of Marina and Mallet and biological son of Shayne. They will appear on the show until it’s final run in August.

Congrats to Patrick and James! Fresh photos always get the judges attention, upload photos now.

Thanks to anyone who helped and went and got tested. We just heard that they have found 2 potential matches for Jasmina!

The effort was helped by a bunch of celebrities including, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Flo Rida, Trick Daddy and Pitbull! Not only was she excited to meet some of the celebrities, they helped raise awareness and hopefully this little girl will be healthy very soon!

We originally wrote about Jasmina and her rare disease and need for a donor a few weeks ago. Read about Jasmina. Thanks to everyone who went out and tried to help this cutie!

It is also Wednesday…I’ve gotten a little off track, we’ve been busy here at CuteKid central! But here’s Winner Wednesday.

Another sad day in Hollywood. 75 year old comedian and chef Dom Deluise passed away yesterday in his sleep. This coming shortly after fellow comedian Bea Arthur who played Dorothy Zbornak on The Golden Girls for 7 years.

Both left behind children and Arthur is survived by grandchildren also. Death is a touchy and difficult subject to have to talk to younger kids about. Many may not understand just what it means, so if they don’t react initially, they may just need time to process it. Just make sure they know they have you to talk to once the reality hits them.

You may also need to prepare them for any situation they might encounter, for example a wake or burial ceremony. It is probably best for most children not to be surprised or confused when the time comes considering the already emotional time.

Some parents even opt to do something fun and break the news to the child while in the midst of the activity. While this might seem like a great idea, only you know you’re child and know if this is a tactic to use. Understandably, you might be left with a hysterically crying child in the middle of Carvel.
