Hey CuteKidders! Just got back from our Texas Model Search, and let me tell you, it went FANTASTICALLY.

Judy Goss & Fashion Show Cast

So many cuties & their parents came out in hopes of being the next child model for The Campbell Agency! I’m sure it is going to be hard for Campbell Agency to choose just one cutie to claim the grand prize of a 1 year modeling contract & $500 prize! It was hard enough just to choose a few to be in the fashion show.

We even had an agent on site scouting for more talent, and boy was she impressed with the cuties that showed up! Who knows, maybe we will see more than one cutie from the model search being represented by Campbell.

The fashion show was also great, we ended up being able to give 18 cuties the chance to strut their stuff on stage in some of this Fall’s coolest outfits from SAKs, GAP Kids & Baby GAP, Gymboree, Rainforest Café and Fanzz! Boy did they do an EXCELLENT job!

Some kids shook their groove thang, some tossed around a football, some strutted their stuff like pro runway models and one even did some cool karate moves! So many different cute characters!

A special thanks to all who came out for the search and made it such a great success!

Another special thanks to some people who helped us out greatly this weekend: Grapevine Mills Mall, The Campbell Agency, Candy Battle, Merry Miller,Melody of Melodies & Memories, Royal Drama, Wee Ones, SAKs, GAP Kids & Baby GAP, Gymboree, Rainforest Café, Fanzz, Parents Magazine and all the interns who showed up to help us keep things flowing smoothly!

We just can’t wait to do our next model search!

Great news today! We just got word that one August CuteKid entrant is going to land a spot on SESAME STREET!

Carrie Haugh, Casting Director for Sesame Street is our new pro judge & will be looking for a CuteKid to have on the show in the Fall!

Winning child will get to be on an episode of the show & meet Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and the rest of the gang!

To be eligible to be on Sesame Street, you must enter a photo of your CuteKid into TheCuteKid.com photo contest! At the end of August, Carrie will choose one child to be on the show!

As parents, you all know how devistating having a sick child can be, and if your child is healthy, you know how luck you truly are. We just received word from the Amanda Styles Cirelli Foundation (ASC Foundation). They provide funding to pediatric cancer research & programs that support cancer patients & their families.

The foundation was created in memory of Amanda, a woman who passed away at the age of 29 after a valiant battle with cancer who spent much of her life caring for & educating children.

On Sept. 25, 2009 they will be hosting their 2nd annual fundraising event, a cocktail party & auction at The Metropolitan in Glen Cove, NY.

Donations are tax deductible to this organization. Generosity will be acknowledged in the event program as well as on their site at http://www.ascfoundation.com, which is where you can also make a donation in memory of Amanda to help kids with cancer.
