The CuteKid’s Year in Review
Written by Jen Dwyer on December 23, 2009 – 5:30 pm -As 2009 comes to a close, The CuteKid wanted to thank all of our faithful members for helping us make this the best year yet! We couldn’t have done it without you!
So what exactly made this the best year so far? Lots of things!
- We named our CuteKid of the Year, Kaley & got to meet her and her family on her Carter’s Footwear photo shoot!
- Tons of kids got a foot in the door when we partnered with The Outreach Center, Sesame Street, March of Dimes and Harpist, Merry Miller!
- Even more of our CuteKid members hit it big with casting calls they found on our site! All 4 of the Gap Kid & babyGap casting call winners were also CuteKid members!
- We increased our prizes for monthly winners & added more gallery contests for more fun throughout the year!
- We partnered with some great brands to bring you special deals just for members! To name a few, Disney, Parents Magazine and Gerber Life!
- We had some great guest judges like Carrie Haugh, freelance casting for Sesame Street, Patti Fleischer of Generation Model Management and Jade Albert, top kids photographer!
- Judy Goss, former Ford model & agent, joined our team as spokesperson and pro judge!
- We connected with you on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace for some fun extra contests
And that’s not even close to all the great things we’ve done this year because of our great community!

To our friends at CuteKid:
2009 was a year to remember for our family.The year of the CuteKid, and it was our very own!
The thrill and excitement surrounding Kaley’s BIG “win” is still fresh in our minds.
Our experiences in New York, from polar bears at the Central Park zoo, the Carters photo shoot, meeting all of you, we loved every minute of it.
The most outstanding, however, remains the establishment of an account for Kaley’s future educational needs. We are forever grateful for such a prize, and we know Kaley, one day, will be too.
We are sorry to see it all end, but look forward to all that lies ahead.
