Hey CuteKidders! Just got back from our Texas Model Search, and let me tell you, it went FANTASTICALLY.

Judy Goss & Fashion Show Cast

So many cuties & their parents came out in hopes of being the next child model for The Campbell Agency! I’m sure it is going to be hard for Campbell Agency to choose just one cutie to claim the grand prize of a 1 year modeling contract & $500 prize! It was hard enough just to choose a few to be in the fashion show.

We even had an agent on site scouting for more talent, and boy was she impressed with the cuties that showed up! Who knows, maybe we will see more than one cutie from the model search being represented by Campbell.

The fashion show was also great, we ended up being able to give 18 cuties the chance to strut their stuff on stage in some of this Fall’s coolest outfits from SAKs, GAP Kids & Baby GAP, Gymboree, Rainforest Café and Fanzz! Boy did they do an EXCELLENT job!

Some kids shook their groove thang, some tossed around a football, some strutted their stuff like pro runway models and one even did some cool karate moves! So many different cute characters!

A special thanks to all who came out for the search and made it such a great success!

Another special thanks to some people who helped us out greatly this weekend: Grapevine Mills Mall, The Campbell Agency, Candy Battle, Merry Miller,Melody of Melodies & Memories, Royal Drama, Wee Ones, SAKs, GAP Kids & Baby GAP, Gymboree, Rainforest Café, Fanzz, Parents Magazine and all the interns who showed up to help us keep things flowing smoothly!

We just can’t wait to do our next model search!

Another update on a CuteKid! Macy’s chose Kyler from California to be in some of their ads! Since becomming a CuteKid, Kyler has also been seen in ads for Old Navy and Hanna Andersson. Way to go Kyler!

Exciting news, we just confirmed that all of the Baby Gap and Gap Kid casting call winners are members of The CuteKid! Congratulations to our Baby Gap casting call winners, Jaci Rae and Caleb as well as our previously mentioned Gap Kid casting call winners, Kellen and Jovana!

Just goes to show that anything can happen when you’re a CuteKid! It’s an exciting time for us here at The CuteKid, so many of our members are making it big and landing great talent gigs!

Just recently we had Chase from New York land a Fisher-Price ad and Cruz from New Jersey became the face of a new Crayola toy comming out this month!

Winner Wednesday strikes again! We just got word that the Gap Kid Girl winner from the Gap casting call is also a CuteKid! Jovana, age 10 is the Gap Kid Girl winner and she is from Illinois.

This Gap winner loves playing softball and basketball and would love to one day be a teacher or veterinarian. Somehow, we think modeling is in her future though!

We can’t wait to see more from this Gap Kid Girl and CuteKid. As we’ve seen with some of our other CuteKids, sky’s the limit!

So like a good Social Mama, I was watching the Grammy’s last night. Little did I know, one of our very own CuteKids (Beth) was at the Grammy’s because she was in a music video for an up and comming artist! Out of 300 pitches, the video she was in was one of 5 winners that aired at the Grammy’s. Way to go Beth!

Before appearing on the Grammy’s, Beth and her twin sister Brooke were our April 2008 Multiples Winners! CuteKids have been going all sorts of great places lately! See our other recent CuteKids who have made waves, Kellen, Kiannah and Jared.

The music video was for the Filmaka Lincoln Mercury competition called Project Rising Stars done especially for the Grammy’s. Beth was featured in the music video for Olivia Broadfield’s song ‘Indescribable.’ In addition to being aired on the Grammy’s, a 30 second condensed version of each video is used for a Lincoln Mercury national SAG TV commercial. How cool!

You can also vote for Beth’s video that appeared on the Grammy’s. The concept of the video is very cute, and I’m not even saying that because one of our kids was in it! It might make you a little nostalgic!

They also have a page up for each of the winning videos that were featured during the Grammy’s.

Congratulations to Gap Winner, Kellen! He was the Gap Boy Winner in the latest casting call and coincidentally, he’s also a CuteKid! We’ve been waiting for news about the GAP winners for a week nowand we couldn’t be happier that a CuteKid was chosen as the Gap casting call winner and new Gap Boy model!

Thousands of kids entered the the Gap Kid and Baby casting call. There were four categories, Gap Baby Girl, Gap Baby Boy, Gap Kid Girl and Gap Kid Boy. The CuteKid was fortunate enough to have two of our members be finalists in the casting call!

We first heard that Kellen was a Gap Finalist in December. See his original spotlight as a Gap finalist on The CuteKid. His parents must be so proud!

We can’t wait to see him in Gap ads sporting the latest boy fashions. Good job on being the Gap Kid Boy Winner Kellen!

Even though the GAP casting call is over, TheCuteKid contest runs all year long! CuteKid members also receive the latest information on Gap casting calls.

I really want to know who is winning this dang GAP contest. They’ve been stringing us along telling us “The GAP kids winner will be announced in late January.” Well, considering there’s only two days left of January, they don’t have so much time left to keep their promise! GAP, if you’re reading this…tell us who it is already!

The CuteKid has two good reasons to be excited for this years contest though. Two of our very own CuteKids are in the running to be the new GAP Kid models. They’re actually competing against each other as they’re both contestants in the Kid Boy category. Either way, we’re sure one of them will be the winner…they ARE CuteKids after all!

So we’re on the lookout for any news from GAP. Hopefully news that says either Kellen or Jared are their new GAP Boy model.

Either way, we’re sure we’re going to hear more from these cute boys in the future.
