Written by Mary Fetzer on March 11, 2009 – 3:29 pm -Kingston.
Suri. Maddox. Malia.
These mini celebrities unknowingly set fashion trends for children everywhere. Paparrazi have photographed these famous offspring wearing Versace T-shirts, True Religion jeans, and D&G Junior (yep, that’s Dolce & Gabanna for kids) onesies.
Your kids can sport trendy duds, too. Celebrity Kids sells clothes for the entire family so you can “dress like the celebrities we watch every day.” Celebrity Kids makes it easy to “shop like the stars.” These are just some of the fabulous items your little one can sport around town:
Kingsley shirts for boys
If Brangelina’s son, Maddox, wears these shirts, then they must be cool. Hoodies and T-shirts in masculine colors feature edgy graphics and funky designs. Prices range from $38 to $80.
Ed Hardy clothes that make a statement
Madonna, Kanye West, and Heidi Klum can be seen in Christian Audigier designer fashions. Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier is a youthful clothing line which includes jeans, shirts, hats, and dresses featuring bold designs of pirates, skulls, and more.
Mehgan Fabulous for girls
Your teen will be a fashion standout in the same dresses and tops seen on Paris Hilton. From silky multicolored dresses to risque vests (no shirt required!), your daughter will rock the socks off her peers. These exceptional fashion pieces range in price from $95 to $465.
FunZee OneZees
FunZee, a newly launched clothing brand, features “OneZees” with quirky slogans, including “Hand over the bottle and nobody gets hurt” and “Party Tonight My Crib, B.Y.O.B.” A unique gift idea for just $25.
No matter where you live, your family can look like you belong in Hollywood.

We love dressing babies in hip, trendy clothes. But why stop there? From designer diaper bags to high-fashion strollers, there are countless products to help your little one make a fashion statement.
Blankets
Babies sport blankets the way we wear coats. Fortunately, you can find blankets made of cotton, cashmere, velvet and more. Angie Harmon loves Baby Fabulous custom-made blankets. Check out Blueberry Babies for personalized blankets ranging from $20 to $230.

Styles range from backpacks and totes to clutches and Daddy bags. Choose from canvas, leather, and suede in countless colors and patterns. You can find Brangelina’s Storksak bags at Bliss, a Dooney & Bourke bag on eBay, organic bags at Tiny Tush, or trendy $20 bags at Proud Tots.

Taking Baby Steps in Designer Shoes
Written by Mary Fetzer on February 6, 2009 – 1:48 am -Manolo Blahnik.
Marc Jacobs.
From platform pumps and heel-less shoes to gladiator sandals and moccasin boots, we’re always checking out celebrity footwear. Whether they’re on the red carpet or caught on camera shopping for groceries, we can’t help but notice the fab footwear. Snazzy shoes are so in that stars like J-Lo, Paris, Fergie, and Jessica Simpson design their own.
Nowadays, even the tiniest celebs are sporting stylish footwear. There’s Shiloh in comfy Robeez and hip Vans, Violet in Crocs, and Suri wearing Mary Janes in every color you can imagine!
Surf the Internet and you’ll find no shortage of designer shoes for your baby, like these:
- UGG Erin baby boots, $60
- Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. crib shoes, $50
- Yo My Booties in Pink, Electric Blue or Cappuccino, $40
Don’t think for a minute there are only just soft-walking shoe styles for your tot, though. In fact, the latest over-the-top baby trend is the stiletto. For $35, you can get your fashionista a pair of Heelarious booties — crib shoes with soft, collapsible high heels. Available in zebra stripe, leopard, hot pink, and patent, these adorable shoesies come in sizes 0 to six months and are fully functional – not for walking, but for keeping the feet warm and looking absolutely adorable. Sure, she’ll grow out of them in a matter of weeks, but isn’t it worth it?
Would you splurge on designer shoes for your baby?

Brad, Knox, and Newsboy Caps
Written by Mary Fetzer on January 30, 2009 – 1:06 pm -
It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, young or old… to be in style, you need a newsboy cap. Brad Pitt and lookalike son, Knox, landed in Tokyo sporting matching toppers.
There’s a newsboy cap out there for every person, season, and budget. Target has simple twill caps for under $10, while Nordstrom sells Juicy Couture and Betmar hats for $50 and up.
And what’s great about the newsboy cap — which has been around since the end of the 19th century — is that it’s practical. It wears like a baseball cap but has a smaller visor that shades the eyes without obstructing vision. Of course, if you’re under 18, you can get away with wearing it sideways.
Pick up warm wool, suede, or leather for winter and cool, lightweight cotton for spring. Whether you want pink plaid or basic black, there’s a newsboy cap out there for you.
‘Fess up: Who do you think is cuter: Brad or Knox?
